A developing trend for major retailers is to be open on Thanksgiving and very early on Black Friday (12:00am to 4:00am). While these increased hours of operations are quite fruitful for employers, many of the employees are unable to spend time with their families because of it. While some retailers allow these shifts to be filled voluntarily, many do not.
We are asking for the White House to comment on the situation and provide any possible ways to relive this stress many workers are facing.
