We would like the President directly address the unscrupulous practices of individuals such as Martin Shkreli, who recently acquired Turing Pharmaceuticals and raised the price of Pyrimethamine (an anti-malarial drug, among other indications) by 5000%, and has the sole 'right' to market/sell it in the United States.
The World Health Organization lists this on it's essential medicines list, and the CDC recognizes it as an important anti-malarial drug, especially so for pregnant women and the newborn children they bear.
We would therefore also like to see the ability of manufacturers of generic versions granted rights to distribute these sort of drugs unimpeded by simply not having a 'right' to manufacture or sell it.
