address the problem of why it is so difficult for people with felony records to find employment

I was charged with a felony in the year of 1992 and even now in 2013 when i apply for a job i always get deined or turned down because of my criminal background check,how are you supposed to survive or make a decent living if no one gives you a chance to show you have changed.I think this problem should be addressed cause there are alot of decent people out here that only want that one chance to turn thier life around and do it the right way.
