We the People deserve affordable healthcare. More needs to be done to Obamacare by addressing the real issue which is hospital price gouging & profiteering from the uninsured/underinsured. It is a known fact hospitals make 400-1000% profit margins on services and procedures. Time Magazine March 4, 2013 reports this. Also, several non-profit hospitals are churning $100MM + profits. This is a violation of charitable trusts and tax breaks for 501c3's on the backs of taxpayers.
1. Cause hospitals to show the monetization of their costs for services and procedures on their websites, showing the costs per patient/precedure over a three year period.
2. Prosecute those violating charitable trusts & tax breaks
3. Stop the hospital $5.38 billion/yr. in DC lobbying.
4. Right-size hospital charges!
