This is a request for the United States Government to address the real gun problem.
Acknowledge that guns are not the problem. The people using them are.
Require schools to lock doors, and have a guard/metal detectors for entry.This would fully stop all shootings in schools If you want to gain access to the inside of the school then no entry without search, and identification.
Publicly Acknowledge that the people who committed crimes like Newtown, and the shootings of the firefighters, Waco, columbine, and others, were mentally unstable and/or using prescription drugs given to them too freely.
Publicly Acknowledge that removing guns will only lead to other acts of violence, and if people have the desire to harm others, guns are not the only way they they can do it.
