We call on the Obama administration to modify and pass the Free Syria Act of 2013 in order to address the massive refugee crisis that many countries in the Middle East are faced with. The desired modification of the act entails the removal of all military involved aspects and emphasis of the humanitarian aspects. Our main goal is to meet the social and economic needs in order for the refugees to return to a stable life.
We hope to encourage our nation to take steps in preserving human rights and social justice through the passing of this act.
