Persons who lack housing for any reason, whether through financial insolubility or free choice, have the right to sleep and live in public places and to collect donations in any form from any source.
Imposing personal beliefs or opinions in the form of law, especially when those beliefs target a specific group, is highly unconstitutional. They have the right to pursue happiness in any way they choose, and while people have the right to disapprove of them, they have no right to deprive anyone of any freedom in this manner. Failing to regulate laws that impose opinion or preference on others by any group is unacceptable.
American law is riddled with laws imposed by one group on another. We no longer have segregation of blacks, why do we have segregation of cannabis smokers and homeless?
