President Rafael Correa of Ecuador promised to save the Yasuni Rainforest, the most biologically diverse place in the world, from oil exploration and drilling if the International Community could raise the 3.6 billion dollars of oil that exists in the forest. Recently President Correa canceled the plan and the rainforest is in danger of being destroyed. This petition asks the Obama Administration to lead the charge in saving this site.
