The goal of this petition is to get the Obama Administration as well has other Government officials to take notice to the Chicago crime rate and the youth that are being slain. More people have died in our city than those fighting for our country in ONE year.
Along with that we are asking for their help to reduce this and help us see more students grow up and get a college degree. Some youth cannot even walk to school or walk home without being killed.
We're attempting to take action but now we are asking for our Governing body to take action as well, show us that you care.
Let's not forget about those in poverty, the beggars on Michigan Ave, even those on the city's South Side..help them as well to find shelter and food.
Help find a solution, make new laws, do what you can..
