Science tells us that the effects of the drug alcohol are very negative. It leads directly to liver disease. It has a high overdose potential. It severely impairs your judgment and cognitive skills yet is legal while a drug, cannabis (marijuana) remains illegal when it's effects on the human body, and the effects is has on the community are very much lesser. Tobacco kills thousands of people a year and is a direct cause of cancer and emphysema. Nicotine is highly addictive yet is sold in nearly every store in our country, and is legal.
