Bradley Manning is an American citizen. He is therefore, in theory, afforded certain inalienable rights under the United States Constitution. An important right that he is being denied is the right to due process. By relegating Mr. Manning to the Military Justice system, the Obama Administration is denying Mr. Manning's right to due process as well as a jury by his peers. Please tell the Obama Administration that American citizens should not lose their Constitutional rights simply because they are in the military. Please urge the Obama Administration to step forward and protect the rights afforded to all citizens under the United States Constitution. Please tell the Obama Administration that allowing a US Citizen to languish in legal limbo is unacceptable.
