HEALTH INEQUITIES ARE UNFAIR
We have the greatest inequities in health outcomes between the rich and poor among western democracies. We spent 17.1 percent of or gross domestic product (GDP) on healthcare, nearly 50 percent more than the next highest country, but we are only ranked only 37th in the world.
ENDORSE THE DEMOCRACY PLEDGE FOR HEALTH EQUITY
We, the people, pledge the Republic of the United States of America to be One Democracy, indivisible, with justice, equality, liberty and health equity for the greater good of all.
WE NEED TO DEVELOP HEALTH-EQUITY-IN-ALL-POLICIES.
This calls for developing for a Bipartisan Innovation Enterprise to build:
1. A health equity movement to restore democracy
2. A democracy movement to reduce health inequities.
