President Obama’s recent appointments to the National Labor Relations Board are unfair and unconstitutional. He must rescind them immediately.
The President had neither the authority nor legal grounding to make appointments when the Senate is in session – pro forma sessions included. It is an illegitimate act in the eyes of the People of the United States showing blatant disregard for the Constitution.
Based on these facts alone, the President should realize that pro forma sessions are legitimate, thereby making his actions illegitimate.
The people of the United States of America refuse to allow this injustice to corrode our long-established system of democratic government. The president is contributing to the destruction of our system of checks and balances.
