Adhere to the Constitution of the United States.

Created by J.W. on August 06, 2014

We wish the president to adhere to the Constitution, abide by separation of powers, respect checks and balances, and to not assume what the people want him to do, but to listen bipartisanly.

Do not abuse executive authority by prescribing your own legislative measures, as it is the executive branch's responsibility to enforce the laws, not write them.

From the Whitehouse's website, "The President is responsible for implementing and enforcing the laws written by Congress and, to that end, appoints the heads of the federal agencies, including the Cabinet."

We do not wish for a monarchy that uses a pen and a phone to go around the entire system we have in place to govern this land. Represent us, but do not abuse our trust.

Exercise restraint with your executive orders.
