For too many years the federal government has overstepped the restraints set forth by our founding fathers in the Constitution. Both political parties are guilty of doing so.
This petition asks the Obama administration to return to our Constitutional government and follow the proper procedures to enact changes to the Constitution that are felt to be "inadequate" or "antiquated". The Constitution is not a hindrance to any politician and if a politician sees it that way then perhaps that politician should re-evaluate their views on whatever it is they'd like to accomplish.
