ADJUST THE CUTOFF DATE OF HAVING NO LAWFUL STATUS UNDER THE EXPANDED DACA (DEFERRED ACTION) ANNOUNCED IN NOVEMBER 2014.

In November 2014, the President announced the expansion of DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) to include people of any age who entered the U.S. before 16 and have been living in the U.S. since January 1, 2010. However, the USCIS released updated FAQ's on February 11, 2015, which stated that even under the expanded DACA, the cutoff date for having no lawful status would stay the same as previously (June 15, 2012). Failing to adjust the cutoff date to the day of the expansion announcement (November 20, 2014) will seriously defeat the purpose of "expanding" DACA, and we are seeing countless people being disappointed and frustrated. The Obama Administration should immediately work with the USCIS and adjust the cutoff date in order for the executive action to actually mean something.
