Adjust the FDA drug approval policy so that a drug would become available to doctors as soon as it's safety is known.

Created by S.M. on March 14, 2015

The FDA limits availability of drugs that are known to be safe. One such drug that was approved to treat melanoma named mk3475,or keytruda,is in clinical trial to treat mesothelioma. Resultslts from a facebook friend have been very successful, with a 42 to 85% thus far in disease reduction. This indicates by far the best treatment for this disease.
Due to the FDA approval process access to this medication is only in clinical trial locations This prevents the very sick and poor from receiving treatment that is life saving.
When a patient has no better treatment and the prognosis is otherwise grim, the best course of action is to allow treatment.
