This petition is to lower the salaries of Congressmen and other elected federal officials across the board. The funds are then to be used to make enlisted military pay competitive with private sector jobs. The men and women of our Armed Forces sacrifice everything for our country, yet must struggle to get by. Many of whom, are paid so little that they qualify for welfare. This is completely and utterly unacceptable.
