Set the limit for federal government political offices at $100,000 per year. The president and the top ranking person in each branch of the military should each earn exactly $100,000 per year. The lowest ranking person in the federal government should make the exact same pay annually that a secondary school teacher in that state would make with the same amount of experience. For example, a politician living in the state of Virginia with 6 years of experience as a federal employee, should make the same amount of pay that a secondary school teacher living in Virginia with 6 years of experience makes. Furthermore, government officials should no longer be allowed to vote on their own pay raises. Pay raises for federal political positions should be voted on by the United States citizens.
