In order to assure a base minimum knowledge and understanding in those who politically serve our country at it's highest levels, We the People request a modification of the minimal requirements to serve in Public Office at the Federal Level.
This Modification would be the following:
Any person so wishing to run for political office at the Federal level, be they new comer or incumbent, be required to demonstrate the knowledge of at least high school equivocancy in Civics - most important the Powers of the Branches of Government (Judicial, Legislative, Executive), Checks and Balances, and how this relates to the American Governance System.
