The above article interviews a billionaire who explains that raising the maximum yearly salary for overtime is to the middle class what the minimum wage is to workers living in poverty. I agree with his viewpoint.
Businesses are making more money in part because the majority of working Americans are not being paid overtime for their work. The President has the authority to do this through executive action. I want to encourage the President to have this issue studied and if he agrees, to take such action to help relieve the financial stresses on the middle class.
