No weapons that are currently legal would become illegal, but if a gun registered in your name is used in the commission of a crime, you will be charged as an accessory whether or not you had any prior knowledge or active participation.
This respects the rights of responsible gun owners, but punishes irresponsible owners for their negligence.
Enforcement should be thorough and awesome in order to preserve both gun rights, and human lives.
