Everyone in this country has the right to vote. However many people do so without knowing any of the issues or how the government even functions. I believe citizens should have to pass a test prior to voting proving that they are worthy. This test should be composed of fairly simple questions relating to the government.
There are awful statistics showing that many citizens can't even name the three branches of government.
If you can't answer a question like that then you have no business voting. People like this either don't care or are willfully ignorant. Either way, their vote shouldn't be a determining factor in an election.
