Admit Italy as a new State of the Union

Being Italy already an historical ally of US, the US government could take key advantages from Italy inclusion as a State of the Union.
Geopolitical strategy: becoming Italy a member State, there can be a massive presence of US forces and basis without need of consulting upon and agreeing with any foreign state.
Italy is in the heart of Mediterranean: a bridge toward troublesome northern Africa and significantly close to Middle East.
Economic benefit: matching US efficiency, business procedures and innovation capability with italian creativity, worldwide known italian brands, and italian enogastronomical excellence would boost US economy
Trade benefit: taking Italy out of eurozone and imposing USD will lower consumer prices on now imported goods and boost international trade for those.
