Though early reports differed, it now seems conclusive that Osama bin Laden was unarmed at the time of his death. He posed no threat to the troops sent to capture him. Though he was a truly evil man, it is un-American to deny anyone, no matter how monstrous their crimes, due process. The administration should come clean and reprimand those responsible. Yes, he deserved to die. But he also deserved due process.
