The actual intent is for the White House staff to "review it...and issue an official response"
Writing a statement is not the same as Taking Action.
We don't need more words. We know what the issues are, we're the ones bringing them up.
We are not just here to listen to You. You need to listen to us.
We the People pacifies the people by giving the false impression that they've done something, so they'll turn off their computers and forget about it.
It's designed to keep people in their homes and discourage them from getting out there and taking an active role in changing their future thru true democratic means, such as peacably assembling and demonstrating.
