Adopt the Cockerham Mass-Killer Naming Scheme to reduce the fame of those who commit mass-murder.

Created by C.L. on January 22, 2013

We ask the Obama Administration to endorse and use the Cockerham Mass-Killer Naming Scheme in official correspondence and media interaction, a move which we hope will help to reduce the media attention that mass-killers personally receive and remove fame as a motivator for this type of crime. The Cockerham Mass-Killer Naming Scheme was developed by Rob Cockerham based upon comments made by the likes of Paul McCartney and others and is described in depth at http://cockeyed.com/citizen/infamous/infamous_nicknames.html - Under the scheme, mass-killers will be referred to in the media by a predetermined, non-vicious sounding nickname starting 2 weeks after the crime. Adoption of the scheme is voluntary, but this administration can set a strong example for the media.
