Adopt a Fair Tax system where all pay a share. Taxation based on purchases with higher rates being applied to Luxury Commodities and lower rates to necessities of life. Were the people currently not paying into the tax system be obligated by purchase tax to contribute to the over all economy, we could rectify many of the shortfalls within the current tax code and Federal Budget shortfall. A flat tax of 4% going up to 15% for luxury items, if mandated on each purchase would bring in more money than the current Tax system and it would the all of the people, not 53% of the people paying for the programs and expenses of the Federal Government.
