This countries resistance to the SI system is childish when one considers that we are one of only three countries that continues to use a sub-standard system. Converting will cause no harm to public life, and only ease the pain of so many STEM students and graduates who are forced to submit to the citizens who rarely involve themselves with the monotonous practice of dimensional analysis. Help make the United States at the fore front of math and science and not stuck in the past. Require legislation to provide a more forceful conversion into the world of tomorrow.
