We petition the United States government to introduce legislation to adopt the International System of Units (metric system). Adoption of the SI would greatly simplify international commerce, and improve efficiency in manufacturing, scientific, and engineering fields, helping our nation to stay competitive and standardize with the rest of the developed world.
