Currently the United States uses standard units of measurement (inches, feet, yards, miles, Fahrenheit) and we are likely the only country in all of the world to use these. While almost the entire rest of the world uses the metric system (centimeters, meter, kilometer, Celsius) and are able to communicate measurements internationally without need for conversion (with the exception of communicating with the United States.)
We the people request that a 5 year plan be created to transition the United States to using the metric system by 2020. A year that could be marked as the year the entire world unites with perfect vision in regards to units of measurement.
