Adopt a policy supporting End-of-Life Choices.

Created by P.M. on November 02, 2014

Physician-assisted death is the voluntary termination of one's own life by administration of a lethal substance with the direct or indirect assistance of a physician. Physician-assisted death is the practice of providing a competent, terminally ill patient with a prescription for medication for the patient to use with the primary intention of ending his or her own life. Legalization of physician-assisted death offers those who are dying control over their own dying process and is an act of compassion and respect.
