Proportional Representation is a electoral system in which voters are proportionally represented in the elected body. Essentially everyone's vote is represented. The quote above really captures the issue with example elections being The Al Gore v. Bush Election of 2000 where Gore won the popular vote & Bush won the Electoral College. Even the more recent Clinton v Trump Election where Clinton won the popular vote & Trump won the Electoral College. Everyone is represented in Proportional Representation and Voter Turnout is Higher.
