In light of the recent mass killings of innocent people at the Clackamas Town Center Mall in Oregon and the elementary school children in Connecticut it is now reasonable to request that the government re-examine its current gun law policies and establish a new set of laws that will help reduce the tragedy caused by these random acts of gun violence.
By signing this petition I am in favor of any or all of the following:
- A ban on assault weapons;
- Limit magazine clips to no more than 10 bullets;
- Registration of every firearm by every owner;
- Gun Licensing requirements, excluding persons with violent criminal records or proven violent mental disabilities;
- Limiting the quantity of ammunition to be owned or purchased; and/or
- Documentation of all guns sales or transfers.
