The founding fathers knew, that those who controlled the land (the community's wealth) should be the only tax payers. Income was never taxed until 1913. We need to TAX ASSETS NOT INCOME...nor payroll, sales or school tax.
The "Single Tax" does just that. Taxing income discourages business. Taxing assets (land, franchises and other monopolies) creates incentive to owners to produce wealth (and jobs) or lose control through taxation. Instituting the "Single Tax" would explode the real estate construction industry so owners can recoup their taxes as they earn income TAX FREE. Every town in America would undergo a construction boom. This is the progressive economic platform we've all been waiting for. Imagine progressives calling for an end to income tax...an idea no conservative can refuse.
