WHEREAS the people of the
United States of America, the american press, and the current presidential administration have begun referring to the looming tax and spending issues as the "Fiscal Cliff", we believe that other appropriate terminology should be adopted to refer to other major looming issues, to wit:
FISCAL COMET: threat of downgrading of our debt and resulting myriad problems.
FISCAL ASTEROID: estimated $63 TRILLION unfunded entitlements between now and 2035 and associated problems.
FISCAL PLANETARY COLLISION: The fact that we are doing EXACTLY the same things that the Greeks have been doing that have created such an extreme threat of financial collapse with the exception that we will not have 43 nations lined up with $249 TRILLION to help us out of it.
