Throughout colleges in the United States, students are supposed to be expanding their minds to new ideas and challenging their own beliefs.
However, a new trend has been arising in the name of Political Correctness. Colleges have been overreaching with speech codes and trigger warnings and many other policies which supress freedom of speech and jeopardize part of the reason we have colleges in the first place.
Colleges across the United States have become over sensitized, and speech codes restrict speech that can be deemed "offensive" by some students. Speech on some campuses is also limited to "Free Speech Zones", and you can be punished if you speak outside of it
We ask President Obama to place financial consequences on Public Universities that enact policies that limit free speech.
