All states should adopt the "adult impersonation statutory rape by fraud as a defense to statutory rape. Teens are obtaining fake identification cards, lying about their age and trolling for older men and women to have sex with and then turning them in for statutory rape. This is not right. Those imprisoned for this type of statutory rape should have their convictions overturned. Make these teens liable for their actions. I am not saying that we should allow child predators to walk freely. I am saying that teens should be held liable for intentionally lying to obtain sex from older men. Protect the real victims of these cases and stop police from using these out of control teens to convict innocent men and women.
