Ban military style Pressure Cookers. No one needs a military style pressure cooker for canning purposes. Further, we should close the Kitchen Store loophole and have background checks done on all those transfers. 40% of pressure cooker purchases are through these loopholes. We should require background checks on private transactions too, especially between family members like grandmothers to granddaughters. We should have a universal pressure cooker list so we can track these deadly pressure cookers. Of course, we are NOT calling this a pressure cooker registry, after all that is against the law. But how can we be safe with all these PRESSURE COOKER OWNERS out there. As President Obama has said, there are bitter folks out there that hold on to their religion and their pressure cookers.
