Advise Congress members to pass the Fair Elections Now Act for effective and affordable campaign finance reform

The Fair Elections Now Act is a campaign finance reform solution which would alleviate the need for candidates to court large, affluent interests. By raising a certain sum of money from a large number of small donors within the constituency, each giving under $100, the candidate would be made eligible to receive a competitive sum of public funds from the government. A candidate in the program would be required to accept no donations above $100 (though this writer has his doubts as to how well that could be enforced), and would receive five additional dollars from the fund for each new dollar raised from under $100 donors.
By displacing corporate money, this system would allow the politician to focus on policy which reflects the will their constituency, rather than some corporate influence.
