Chris Hansen has offered a record amount to purchase the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association from the principle owners, The Maloof family. Chris Hansen's group have a binding transaction in place along with a new arena ready to be built with no new taxes from the citizens of Washington State.
Recently, the NBA relocation committee voted against the relocation of the Sacramento Kings to Seattle. The entire vote is suppose to be held approximately on or before May 13th. The citizens of Washington State are petitioning the Presidents Office to advise that David Stern remove himself from the involvement of this transaction and appoint a third party arbitrator so the people of Washington State receive a fair chance at acquiring this franchise.
