Gray Wolves in the Northern Rockies lost their Federal Protections this year based on Special Intrest Groups, and Anti-Wolf Extremist Politician's. They were able to do this by the unethical practice of using "RIDER BILLS", which are attached to a much larger Bill, which had to pass. Senetor's John Testor and Max Baucas circumvented and attacked The Endangered Species Act by taking away those Federal Protections, and did so in an unethical manner. Rider Bills receive less scrutiny and analasis to merit their passage when attached to a major bill like the Spending Bill. This prevents the accurate and true scientific facts to be weighed, and by slipping this Bill through the ramafactions for the Wolf are bleak and "Sound Science" backs this up. Wolves keep Ecosystems healthy and balanced.
