advocate an alternative to minimum wage increase

Let me share a thought that I have been thinking about over in the last few days. All the press and the politicians have focused on increasing the minimum wage or opposing an increase because it will drive some businesses out of business. Republicans then scream and it goes nowhere. Here is an alternative I have not heard anyone discuss. The basic idea (and later I discuss the tactic) is to get more businesses to do profit sharing. If they have a profit, it is due to the capital investment, the intelligence of the leaders AND THE LABOR OF THE WORKERS. If they have a profit, obviously they are not going to go out of business by sharing it. If they do not have a profit, then there is nothing to share and that overcomes the problem with the minimum wage rising. By putting more profits
