I am 23 year old young man who was diagnosed at the age of 22 years old with Asperger's Syndrome, or high functioning form of Autism in November 2011. I believe passionately in giving a powerful voice to all of those like me, whom have an Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families across America at the federal level.
This petition asks President Obama to advocate to the Congress of the United States, to hereby establish a Joint Congressional Committee on Autism Spectrum Disorders. And stand with all of those children, young adults and families who have loved ones that suffer from an Autism Spectrum Disorder. This action would enable those with Autism to continue to lead healthy and productive lives by giving their families the tools necessary to care for them.
