Advocate forcefully for the release of Sandy Phan-Gillis from Chinese custody. She needs your help.

Created by J.G. on September 23, 2015

Sandy Phan-Gillis is an American citizen who has been detained by China's spy agency, the Ministry of State Security, for over 6 months. She is being investigated under the political charges of Spying and Stealing State Secrets. She is jailed and in solitary confinement.

Sandy was part of a simple trade delegation with the Mayor Pro-Tem of Houston Ed Gonzalez and businessmen, and was detained while attempting to cross into Macau.

Sandy is not a spy or a thief. However, nothing short of a direct appeal to President Xi Jinping is likely to gain her freedom, since she is detained by State Security. We ask that you advocate vigorously for her release. Previous Americans detained on these charges always received vigorous advocacy from their leaders, and Sandy deserves it as well.
