Advocate the passing of a bill outlawing taxpayer money for sports stadiums.

Created by H.K. on May 31, 2014

It is insane how much our American cities and taxpayers are held hostage by professional sports franchises. Only look at AT&T Stadium and the new Atlanta Braves stadium as the latest examples, each of which used (or are using) $300 million in public taxpayer money.

They are hardly the only ones but the most recent the author can think of. Instead of paying for improvements to infrastructure, or investing in the future of our great country, we spend on a luxury. This simply should not be allowed to happen.

I call for the support of a bill that would disallow this practice and get America back on track. To get America spending wisely again. It is something that people of any political affiliation should be able to agree with.
