Alabama is one of the many states that is requesting to succeed from the United States of America. I am a citizen of Alabama and I have been my entire life. Even with its short comings, I happen to love this great state, and do not wish to see it separated from the rest of the union. I firmly believe that the opinions of a few do not reflect the beliefs of all. I have seen many presidents come and go, but I have never seen such hatred shown towards a president, as with President Obama. Alabama continues to be seen throughout not just the nation but the world as one of the most racist states to ever exist. Ultimately, I do not believe that succession would be the best decision for all citizens of Alabama. Leaving this lawless state to govern itself would be a disaster waiting to happen.
