We, the People of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, think the recent outbreak of petitions for secession published by numerous, disgruntled citizens show a remarkable lack of knowledge of basic US History. We choose not to be grouped with those ignorant supposed residents of Massachusetts who have published a counter-petition supporting the secession of our state. Rather, we happily and enthusiastically affirm our membership in these United States of America which are currently led by our lawfully elected President, Barack Obama.
