We Texans, we Americans, support the President in his oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.
We pledge to work with him and our fellow Americans in a constant effort to create a more perfect union of the people.
We continue to pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
We, therefore, respectfully request that the President of the United States affirm that we, the people of the great State of Texas, will remain an integral part of these great United States of America.
