As a 7'0" tall American, I realize that there are many things which simply cannot accommodate me for structural reasons. However, why should I be forced to buy a more expensive car or pay for an expensive procedure to move the seat to drive a car simply for fault of my genetics? Why should I have to pay extra to be accommodated in an extra leg room seat on an aircraft - and sometimes be told there's simply no seat available because someone beat me to paying for it? Less than 2% of Americans exceed a height of 6'3 - why can't we be afforded reasonable accommodations, without extra charges, by in particular transportation industries when necessary both for physical fit and general health purposes? We petition for protection under the ADA or similar law requiring reasonable accommodation.
